Temple Reyim

Newton, MA

Designed by The Architect’s Collaborative in 1958, Temple Reyim was a trendsetter in temple design with its articulated assemblage of worship, social and educational zones.  Now, nearly fifty years later, the congregation embarked on a major renovation, including improvements to infrastructure, redesign of office space, restrooms and related areas, refurbishment of the sanctuary and two social halls, and additions for a medium sized multi-purpose room and front entrance.  These are designed to harmonize with the existing building and yet to be this generation’s particular legacy.
